概要 | The customary use of the Poiseuille's law of friction in the study of liquid motion in small tubes leads sometimes to inaccuracy. In this note equations of the laminar motion of liquid column of finit...e length in a circular tube under gravity, caused by a given pressure at one end, are solved, time-relations and frictions examined, and proved by the U-tube experiments.
