Urbanization presents a chance for progress by fostering the development of sustainable cities that can lessen the pressure on the environment in the future. Urban Sustainability has been emphasized to raise current and future generations living standards. The Urban Sustainability Index (USI) gives decision-makers a thorough evaluation of the integrated nature-society systems globally and locally. Urban Sustainability is assessed using a variety of indicators. This article reviews and discusses the frameworks and indicators used by various researchers to define and measure the USI, highlighting the significance of sustainable urban development, renewable energy, and urban water management.続きを見る
