| 概要 | Recently movie creators, directors, producers, and all of the motion picture world are facing a revolution period because of digitalization of movie contents, the globalization by the Internet, and th...e change of image format. Considering the significance of this evolutionary period, the author attended the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, the largest and most historical one in the world, in order to research the changes taking place in the animation world. MIFA, professional conferences, creative focus, and a job fair were held in parallel with the film festival. This report focuses on the film festival, MIFA, creative focus, and the job fair. In the chapter covering the film festival, the author introduces the background of this festival that introduces feature films, short films, and graduation films. This chapter provides an explanation about the high quality movie contents, the mode of expression, storytelling, techniques, and the festival 's artistic concept. The current situation involving 3DCG in several countries is explained because of its recent significance as a new style in many animation studios and the proportion of 3DCG artwork as a whole. In the chapter on MIFA, a description on the situation of the worldwide animation industry involving the activity of Japanese companies and associations is given. In the chapter on creative focus the bringing up of an animation creator, the community between young creators and directors, producers in the company, and presence of recruits is described. In the last chapter the author states his opinion about the direction that all animation will take in the future. The author hopes that this report hastens the commencement of discussion about every type of animation. Moreover, it is hoped that many students in this university will discover the importance of Anncey's and challenge to participate in this competition in the future.続きを見る |
