概要 |
In this study, we investigated the experience adults have when they read a picture book. Twenty university students participated in the survey and read a picture book. They read the picture book alone... after which we interviewed them and extracted the emotions and personal stories that the experience had elicited. The results showed that 90% of participants spoke of their emotions, and 70% of participants talked about themselves. Seven overall themes could be distinguished in students’ expressions of their emotions, which were all related to each other. Not only “The contents” but also “The way of reading the picture book” and “The picture book itself” elicited emotions in them. According to the above results, when reading picture books, adults experience emotions and engage in self-reflection.続きを見る
