中国温州地域におけるアパレル産業等の中小企業の産業集積は，中国における代表的なマーシャル型産業集積の一つとして，国内外の研究者に注目されてきた． 同地域のアパレル産業は現在も中国において大きな存在感を示しているが，賃金水準や地価の上昇等の経営環境の変化は，産業集積の形成に重要な役割を果たしてきた企業間ネットワークのあり方に制約や変容をもたらしつつある．そのため，このような経営環境の変化が産業集積の...あり方にもたらす影響や，企業間ネットワークが変化した現在における産業集積の役割について検討する必要がある．そこで本稿では，中国浙江省温州市のアパレル産業集積を取り上げ，資料・統計の分析に加えて，同市にある小規模なアパレル企業の経営者23人や企業団体に対するインタビュー調査を行った．結果として，賃金水準や地価の上昇等による企業間競争の激化により，従来は強固であった域内企業聞のネットワークのあり方 には弊害もみられるようになるとともに，ネットワーク自体も弱体化あるいは変容しつつある．産業集積内で事業を行うメリットとしては，既に取引先企業の多くが存在している点や温州地域に本社や企画・開発部門，販売部門を持つことにより，国内の著名なアパレル産地である温州の地域ブランドカを利用できる点が重要になりつつある.
There are many industrial clusters of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) located in the city of Wenzhou, China, including those of the garment industry. As some of the most distinctive Marshallian industrial clusters, they are widely followed by researchers. Despite Wenzhou being one the most well-known regions of the garment industry in China, changes in the business environment such as the increase in labor costs and the rise in land prices have imposed constraints on its corporate network that has played a significant role in the formation of industrial clusters. Therefore, changes in the business environment have made a crucial impact on s such areas the influence of industrial clusters. and the development of their functions within the course of corporate network changes. This thesis takes the garment industry of Wenzhou as the case study. collects and analyzes various resources and statistics. and interviews 23 SME owners and leaders of various businesses. The conclusion is the intensification of competition among SMEs has caused negative impacts on the corporate network due to the increasing cost of both land and labor. The benefits of operating a business within the industrial cluster are, more opportunities to meet potential business partners in the region, and being able to take full advantage of the growing brand power of Wenzhou by setting up headquarters, and even research and development, design and sales departments in the city.続きを見る
