Innumerous tiny pyrite granules of various shape were found in the calcareous concretions of the Upper Cretaceous formations of Sakhalin and Hokkaido. The framboidal pyrite mostly replenishing in the ...tests of diatoms, foraminifers and radiolarians occurs in the majority of these granules.
