概要 Felix Guattari (1930-1992), the French leftist psychoanalyst and social theorist perhaps best known for his collaborations with Gilles Deleuze, first published this work in French in 1989 as Les trios...ecologies and this volume is a paperbound edition of the English translation of 2000. In it he critiques capitalism's techno-scientific transformations of the Earth that, he argues, ultimately threaten the continuation of life on the planet. Technocratic and piecemeal approaches to the crisis do not provide a solution and only articulating an ethico-political outlook he calls "ecosophy" that addresses the three intertwined spheres of the environment, social relations, and human subjectivity can properly clarify the issues in question. Also included in the volume is an essay on the life and work of Guattari by Gary Genosko (sociology, Lakehead U.). Annotation ©2009 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com) 続きを見る
