| 概要 | This introduction to qualitative research in the social sciences is addressed by Flick (Alice Salomon U. of Applied Sciences, Germany) primarily towards novice undergraduate and graduate students, but...also is intended to serve as a "toolkit" for the more experienced researchers in the field. The book is organized into eight parts that describe the framework for doing qualitative research; examine the process of a qualitative study; address practical issues of research design; describe the collection of verbal, observation, and mediated data; discuss how to develop theoretically relevant insights from the data; address issues of grounding and writing qualitative research; and explore how to combine and integrate the elements of different methodological approaches. Case studies appear throughout the text to showcase principles in practice. Other pedagogical features include major issue boxes, checklists, key questions, cross-referencing, exercises, and a glossary. New to this edition are chapters on grounded theory, triangulation, and the current state of the art and future of qualitative research.
