概要	Though the back-end of today's mobile phones are high-integrated and digital, the architectures for the radio-frequency transceiver front- end generally still rely on external components for most crit...cal functions. The search is on for a way to integrate the high-frequency analog front-end in CMOS technology, in order to free it from the external components, reduce cost, and perhaps eventually lead to an entire mobile phone on a single CMOS IC. Two researchers from a Dutch company look at the design of such a front-end, covering the whole design trajectory from documents describing the standard to the systematic development of circuits measured to be compliant to the standard.
