The first volu...e, devoted to approximations, covers some useful classes of module, approximation and co-torsion pairs, and tilting and co-tilting approximations. The second volume deals with realization theorems from perspectives of prediction principles; endomorphism algebras and automorphism groups; modules and rings related to algebraic topology; large cellular cover, localizations, and E(R)-algebras; and some useful classes of algebras. The treatment has been revised from the 2006 first edition, and so substantially expanded that it has been split into the two volumes. They are paged consecutively and both contain the index.
