| 概要 | The Victoria Land Traverse expedition to the interior of Antarctica traversed 2400 km and gathered data over a four-month period in 1959-1960. In 1985, 2000, and 2002, author Weihaupt (emeritus, geolo...y, University of Colorado-Denver) reunited members of the international expedition to share their stories and compare accounts of their dangerous adventure. This book draws on the team's memories, logbooks, and journals, and includes color photos taken by team members in 1959-60. The book also contains 14 appendices of color and b&w maps and data tables.
