| 概要 | Bóna (U. of Florida-Gainesville) collected material from many sources for his graduate textbook, and emphasizes elements of permutation combinatorics that are not published elsewhere. He updates the 2...04 edition with a new chapter on sorting algorithms whose original motivation comes from molecular biology. About half of the original material has been significantly revised, and all chapters now have extended exercise and problem sections. An introductory course in combinatorics is assumed, but no more. There should be more than enough material for a one-semester course, he says, so instructors get to pick their favorite bits. Solutions to odd-numbered exercises are appended.
