| 概要 | The first edition of this comprehensive reference was published in 1975, and its most recent update was in 2006; the original editors' names are at the head of the title. Material is presented in two ...olumes beginning with basic science and proceeding to diagnosis, surgical anatomy, the child's spine, arthritis and inflammatory disorder--on through the gamut of disorders and surgical techniques, ending with complications, failed surgery, and chronic pain rehabilitation strategies. More than a couple thousand photographs and illustrations, most in color, support the text. Pearls, pitfalls, and key points are clearly indicated. Access to the publisher's Expert Consult website is included, offering the full text and links to PubMed abstracts; an included DVD contains videos of key techniques. The sixth edition, like the fifth, has been shaped by six editors affiliated as follows: Harry N. Herkowitz (Oakland U. William Beaumont School of Medicine); Steven R.
