| 概要 | Psychologists mostly in academia describe theories that have transmuted into other theories, that have remained pristine, have been intricately elaborated and articulated, and have remained vague outl...nes. The goal is not only to provide as broad and complete a picture of the theoretical dimension of social psychology, but also to cast light on the process of theory construction, development, and nurturance that serves all sciences. They discuss the theory's origin and development, its place in its intellectual milieu, and its relevance to real-world concerns. The arrangement is by level of analysis, and volume one covers the biological/evolutionary level, the cognitive level, and part of the motivational/affective level. Among the topics are the evaluative space model, an attribution theory of motivation, and a model of behavioral self-regulation. The second volume finishes the motivational/effective level, then covers the interpersonal level and the group and cultural level. The chapters are numbered consecutively, but each volume is paged and indexed separately. Also available as a set. They discuss the theory's origin and history, its place in the intellectual milieu, and its relevance to problems in the real world. The arrangement is by level of analysis. The second volume finishes the motivational/effective level begun in the first, then covers the interpersonal level and the group and cultural level. The topics include self-control theory, equity theory in close relationships, and a theory of individualism and collectivism. The first volume also covers the biological/evolutionary level, and the cognitive level. The chapters are numbered consecutively, but each volume is paged and indexed separately.
