| 概要 | Mingarelli (Carleton University) patches together the pieces of a manuscript Professor Atkinson (U. of Toronto) was writing before his stroke and eventual death in 2002. Appropriate for graduate stude...ts, the text investigates a multiparameter version of the classical Strum-Liouville problem, and applies the eigencurve method to Strum-Liouville problems with two equations and two parameters. Later chapters prove the completeness of eigenfunctions of a multiparameter Sturm-Liouville problem involving finite intervals and develop limit circle/limit point theory for the multiparameter case.
