概要	The third edition of this atlas (first, 2001; second, 2006) continues the evolution of this work as an extraordinarily high-quality visual presentation. It features reorganization, extensive new mater...al (20 new chapters--some 200 more pages), new drawings depicting details of anatomical cadaver dissections, a new drawing technique, newly colorized photos, and one hour of video material on an included DVD. Material is arranged in five units (123 chapters) beginning with fundamentals and continuing with surgery according to anatomical region: abdominal; cervical, vaginal, vulvar, and perineal; other, related (urinary tract, bowel, cosmetic and gender reassignment, and the breast); and endoscopy and endoscopic surgery. This is an elegantly produced book, quite heavy, and destined to endure. Michael S. Baggish is affiliated with St. Helena Hospital, California; he was formerly at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio and the U. of Cincinnati School of Medicine. Mickey M. Karram is affiliated with The Christ Hospital and the U. of Cincinnati. They are identified as authors (rather than editors), although there is a list of about a dozen contributors.
