They assume readers to be adept in advanced calculus, and to be familiar with basic functional analysis and the theory of partial differential equations. They take in turn the Dirichlet problem for strongly elliptic systems of arbitrary order, mixed boundary value problems for a class of second-order elliptical systems that contains the system of linear elasticity among others, and mixed problems for the Stokes and Navier-Stokes system. Dihedrons and polyhedral cones turn up most everywhere; other topics include the Miranda-Agmon maximum principle, and boundary value problems for second-order systems in a bounded polyhedral domain.
