| 概要 | The distributions of zeros of entire functions is one of the most important problems in the theory of entire functions, and has been studies widely, says Gil' (mathematics, Ben Gurion U. of the Negev)... but most studies are concerned primarily--often solely--with the asymptotic distribution, whereas the bounds for zeros are also very important, especially in such areas as numerical mathematics and system theory. Here he devotes himself to the bounds for the zeros of entire functions and variations of zeros under perturbations. His findings suggest a new approach to investigating entire functions based on the recent estimates for the resolvents of compact operators. Among his topics are finite matrices, some basic results of the theory of analytic functions, polynomials, functions of order less than two, exponential type functions, and entire matrix-valued functions.
