| 概要 | The authors (all professors of chemical engineering at the U. of Delaware) present a textbook on mass and heat transfer that is intended to teach students a methodology for developing model mathematic...l equations to describe mass and heat transfer based on the relationship between experimental data and the model, teach students to design and interpret laboratory experiments in mass and heat transfer using these model equations and to effectively translate this knowledge to the operation and design of mass and heat transfer equipment, and develop the students' molecular understanding of the mechanisms of mass and heat transfer in fluids and solids and application in the estimation and correlation of mass and heat transfer coefficients. Following an introduction to the material and method of approach, chapters are presented on chemical reactor analysis, heat exchanger analysis, mass contractor analysis, microscopic analysis of control volumes to estimate the heat transfer and mass transfer coefficients, methods for calculating the are of mass transfer in a variety of mass contacting equipment, and case studies of common mass contactors and heat exchangers.
