概要	Flexible Algorithms for Image Registration (FAIR), a software package written in MATLAB, provides educational and research tools and algorithms for image registration. Written from an interdisciplinar... perspective, this work for mathematicians, medical imaging professionals, and computer scientists and engineers offers an overview of image registration techniques, exercises, and free online access to FAIR. In contrast to classical literature on digital image processing, the book deals with continuous objects and operations, families of discretization, and spatial domains. Engineering is linked to mathematics to explain image registration and to build a bridge between image processing and numerics and between discrete and continuous viewpoints. An introduction offers a brief overview of image processing, numerical linear algebra, and optimization. The book then covers FAIR concepts, image interpolation, parameterized transformations, landmark-based registration, parametric image registration, and nonparametric image registration.
