The first seven chapters pretty faithfully translate his Geometrie Differentielle et Mecanique Analytique, published in 1993 by Cepadues, Toulouse, with additional examples. The last three are completely revised and include several subjects that exceed study for the master's degree; they cover Riemannian geometry, Lagrange and Hamilton mechanics, and symplectic geometry.
