概要	De Cooker (head of the International Relations Department of the European Space Agency) originally presented this work as a loose-leaf publication on the administration of international organizations ...n 1990 and has since issued eight supplements. This volume collects the original publication and the supplements, adding a ninth supplement for a total of 34 papers explaining how international organizations work; how they adjust their administrations to changing task and functions; and the diplomatic, legal, economic, financial, and cultural factors that come into play. Rather than present the materials serially as they appeared in the original publications and the supplements, De Cooker has organized them into sections covering general issues, management, independence, social security, and judicial protection. He also includes statutes of the administrative tribunals of the United Nations, the International Labour Organization, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund, along with a few other related documents.
