| 概要 | Papers from the title workshop, held at DIMACS, Rutgers U., October 1991. The workshop explored the interplay of a number of research areas: symbolic algebra and computer algebra, theoretical computer...science, group theory, and applications of group computation. A major workshop theme was the comparison between algorithms that have had effective implementations and recently developed algorithms that have improved worst-case asymptotic times. No index. The extended talks discuss randomization, permutation groups, matrix groups, software systems, fast Fourier transforms and their applications to signal processing and data analysis, computations with finitely presented groups, and implementation and complexity questions.
