| 概要 | Biondi (geophysics, Stanford U.) introduces seismic imaging from the 3D perspective, starting from a 3D earth model. Connections between 3D and 2D algorithms are made when needed. The main elements of...seismic imaging--data-acquisition geometry, migration, and velocity estimation--are covered, in addition to the problems and solutions related to irregular and inadequate spatial sampling. Only a basic understanding of 2D seismic methods is needed; therefore, the book can be used in first-level advanced graduate classes. The second part is more complex and is suitable for graduate classes. The DVD-ROM contains a subset of the SEG-EAGE salt data set and velocity model and PDF slides for teaching.
