| 概要 | Stemming from the author's expertise and based on graduate seminars he's taught, this text introduces gas-liquid two-phase flow, with and without phase change, for graduate courses in nuclear and mech...nical engineering (and potentially of interest for chemical engineering). The first two chapters cover fundamental concepts concerning single-phase flow and heat and mass transfer and two-phase interfacial phenomena. Hydrodynamics and mathematical modeling are described in subsequent chapters. The final six chapters describe boiling and condensation, including pool and flow boiling, critical heat flux and post-CHF heat transfer, and boiling in mini- and microchannels. Eleven appendices are included containing topics such as the thermodynamic and the transport properties of saturated water and steam, examples of Lennard-Jones potential model constants for selected molecules, and properties of selected ideal gases at 1 atmosphere.
