Journals in Economic Analysis & Policy published 16 new research papers on the Website of the Berkeley Electronic Press that address empirical and theoretical aspects of the model. Those 16 papers--discussing such topics as the degree of political stability as a condition for the effect of trade integration on environmental policy, the influence of tariff changes on pollution-intensive industries, and the possibility that abatement technology incentives in one country can have beneficial spillover effects to other countries with less strict environmental regulations--are presented here in book form by Fullerton (economics, U. of Texas at Austin).
