| 概要 | De Chazournes (law, U. of Geneva, Switzerland) and Salman (the World Bank) present 14 research papers from an eponymous meeting organized by the Centre for Studies and Research in International Law an... International Relations of the Hague Academy of International Law (the Netherlands) in August and December of 2001, exploring the current state of international law as it relates to watercourses and water resources. The papers, some presented in French and some in English, discuss such topics as the evolution and context of international water resources law, rethinking international rivers and lakes as boundaries, the status of water in international economic law, notification and consultation in the law applicable to international watercourses, dispute settlement over non-navigational uses of international watercourses, the European Community's Water Framework Directive as a regional approach to the protection and management of transboundary freshwater resources, and dams and international law.
