| 概要 | Fiscal stability analysis refers to the use of a simple set of tools to assess a government's budget and debt position. Burnside (economics, Duke University) reviews the theoretical literature related...to fiscal sustainability analysis and gives examples of particular methods of analysis. He then describes the effects of business cycles on public finance and fiscal rules, and examines crises and their impacts on fiscal sustainability. Case studies from developing countries are used to demonstrate concepts.
