| 概要 | "Financialization," described in the 17 papers collected here as the awareness of increasing importance of financial markets, institutions and motives in the world economy, can be expressed both quant...tatively and qualitatively to find its costs and benefits to developing and developed nations. The contributors describe the neoliberalism of financialization in terms of class analysis, show how it affects incomes in OECD countries and thereby influences central bank policy and labor solidarity. They point out its effects on the US economy, including in the nonfinancial corporate segment, the "bubble" of the late 1990s and the resulting vulnerability, show how financialization impacts international exchange rates and trade, and how policies on financialization will make such wide-ranging changes as the financial integration of emerging markets, the means of capital mobility, and the utilization of a securities transaction tax in the US. Case studies come from Mexico, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil, and Korea.
