| 概要 | This is an English translation of Italian Marxist thinker Negri's Fine secoo: Un manifesto per l'operaio sociale (1989) in which he described a shift from the "mass worker" of traditional Marxist anal...sis to the "cooperative socialized workforce" that he would go on to elaborate on further in his celebrated work Empire, co- authored with Michael Hardt. The work is rooted in the Italian Marxist traditions of Operaismo and Autonomia, which stress the essentially social character of capital's power and the determining role of the working-class struggle in the dynamism and ruptures which lie at the heart of capitalist relations of production.
