| 概要 | Amongst the programs supported by the World Bank in an effort to meet their goals for development, nutrition appears to be fundamental. However, according to this report, all the technologies and syst...ms brought into play to reduce malnutrition can do little if both developing and developed nations do not commit to using them. At present, building the commitment necessary is unsystematic and not recognized as a professional practice, situations that must be corrected before nutrition (and other) programs can succeed. The report recommends a number of solutions, including developing practical approaches that will encourage politicians to support nutrition programs, including building local partnerships, showing the effects of nutrition programs on voting patterns, and more closely involving the World Bank itself.
