| 概要 | Morgenthal (b. 1904) was trained as a lawyer, but preferred philosophy, and chose to teach and write about international affairs. From 1970 to 1973, he delivered what seems to have been a series of gr...duate level seminars on Aristotle's The Politics at the New School in New York City, which in fact responded to the Vietnam War and opposition to it that were raging at the time. Audio tapes of his lectures are lost, but were transcribed in 1981, shortly after his death. From the transcription, Lang (international relations, U. of St. Andrews) along with previous editors, has selected and arranged what seems most representative of his ideas on politics and political science, law and government, justice and revolution, and related topics.
