| 概要 | In an interdisciplinary study of the nature of theological language, Jensen (Church of Ireland Theological College) considers the modern debate in theological hermeneutics beginning with the Barth-Bul...mann debate, and develops a theory of language that combines historical-critical, and theological interpretations. Then he applies his theory in an exegesis of theologically significant texts of the Gospel of John in light of German, Anglo-American, and postmodern hermeneutical discussions.
