| 概要 | With an objective of demonstrating the relevance of mathematics to the study of experimental and theoretical physics, this book describes the application of concepts in addition to theory. Michael Woo...fson (physics, U. of York) and Malcolm Woolfson (electrical and electronic engineering, U. of Nottingham) aim the book at first and second year undergraduate courses. Some chapters show how several math techniques come together in the development of areas of physics and others address computers, radar and nuclear reactors, and signals from spacecraft. The detection, filtering, and estimation of signals in noise are discussed as well. In addition, 23 computer programs for problem solving are described in outline form; they are available online.
