| 概要 | This text introduces graph theory with a coloring theme, exploring connections between major topics and emerging issues in graph theory and graph colorings. Early chapters present fundamentals of grap... theory that lie outside of graph colorings, including basic terms and results, trees and connectivity, Eulerian and Hamiltonian graphs, matching and factorizations, and graph embeddings. Later chapters deal with graph colorings, with material on vertex colorings and bounds for the chromatic number, vertex colorings of graphs embedded on surfaces, and a variety of restricted vertex colorings. Chapter exercises and b&w illustrations are included. An appendix lists topics and projects for independent study. The book can be used as a text for courses in graph theory and graph colorings.
