| 概要 | To commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Vienna Circle Instutute Yearbook, a conference was called in Vienna in July 2001. Established and new scholars present 30 papers exploring the origins, hist...ry, historiography, and early figures of logical empiricism and well as topics relating to recent developments, such as the unity and plurality of science, contexts of science, epistemology, ethics, some long neglected women of logical empiricism, and the reception of the Vienna Circle and logical empiricism in the Soviet Union and Russia. Included in the Yearbook, but presumably not the conference, are five reviews of recent books, a list of upcoming Institute activities, and an obituary of Eugene T. Gadol. Only names are indexed.
