Part I, Laminar Reacting Flows in Combustion, presents finite element methods, finite difference methods, and finite-volume methods in general. Part II, Turbulent Reacting Flows, discusses details of finite difference methods, finite element methods, and spectral methods as applied to turbulent reacting flow problems. Finally, Part III, Computational Spray Combustion, discusses the formulation of spray combustion equations, droplet vaporization rates, numerical schemes and optimization, and point-source approximations.
