概要 Comprehensive Asymmetric Catalysis-the first entry in the Comprehensive Overviews in Chemistry series-is complete in three volumes & critically reviews methods for the catalytic preparation of chiral ...rganic compounds-explicating the latest information available in the field. The internationally acclaimed editors & contributors guarantee authoritative & timely coverage. Detailing economically & environmentally sound synthetic methods Comprehensive Asymmetric Catalysis focuses on the most significant & promising areas of catalytic asymmetric synthesis; furnishes historical overviews; discusses the mechanisms of catalysis & the basis for stereoinduction; offers a CD ROM with state-of-the-art substructure & reaction-center search capabilities for rapid access; & provides periodic updates in order to remain the standard work in the area for years to come. Comprehensive Asymmetric Catalysis is a highly cost-effective acquisition for libraries & research groups. It also serves as an excellent guide for pharmaceutical chemists, agricultural chemists & other industrial workers.

The first supplement to the three volume reference work "Comprehensive Asymmetric Catalysis" critically reviews new developments to the hottest topics in the field written by recognised experts. Eleven chapters which are already treated in the major reference work have been supplemented, and additionally five new chapters have been included. Thus the state-of-the art in this area is now re-established. Together with the basic three volume book set this supplement is not only the principal reference source for synthetic organic chemists, but also for all scientific researchers who require chiral compounds in their work (for example in biochemical investigations and molecular medicine) as well as for pharmaceutical chemists and other industrial researchers who prepare chiral compounds. Book jacket.
The second supplement to the three volume reference work Comprehensive Asymmetric Catalysis critically reviews new developments to the hottest topics in the field written by recognised experts. Seven chapters which are already in the major reference work have been supplemented and additionally a new chapter on Aminohydroxylation of Carbon-Carbon Double Bonds has been included. Thus, the state of the art in this area is now re-established. Together with the basic three volume book set and Supplement 1 it is not only the principal reference source for synthetic organic chemists, but also for all scientific researchers who use chiral compounds in their work (for example, in biochemical investigations and molecular medicine) as well as for pharmaceutical chemists and other industrial researchers who prepare chiral compounds.
