概要 | The volumes in this continuing series provide a compilation of current techniques and ideas in inorganic synthetic chemistry. Includes inorganic polymer syntheses and preparation of important inorgan...c solids, syntheses used in the development of pharmacologically active inorganic compounds, small-molecule coordination complexes, and related compounds. Also contains valuable information on transition organometallic compounds including species with metal-metal cluster molecules. All syntheses presented here have been tested. Chemistry under extreme conditions (e.g., high temperature) offers the possibility to use elements for synthesis in one of their highest reactive forms, the atomic state. This book describes various experimental techniques that are not routinely employed by synthetic, organic, inorganic, and polymer chemists. It covers high temperature/high pressure reaction conditions, the use of supercritical media, and sonochemistry. The volumes in this continuing series provide a compilation of current techniques and ideas in inorganic synthetic chemistry. Includes inorganic polymer syntheses and preperation of important inorganic solidsd, sutheses used in the development of pharamacologically active inorganic compounds, small-molecule coordination complexes, and related compounds. Also contains calcuable information on transition organometallic compunds, including species with meta-metal cluster molecules. All syntheses presented here have been tested. The Inorganic Synthesis Series provides all users of inorganic substances with detailed and foolproof procedures for the preparation of important and timely compounds. This new volume includes information on water-solubilizing ligands for organometallics, labile ligand complexes, and the syntheses of cluster compounds and hydrides. The Inorganic Syntheses series provides inorganic chemists with detailed and foolproof procedures for the preparation of important and timely compounds. Volume 33 includes provocative contributions on syntheses of selected supramolecules, useful reagents/ligands, solid state materials/clusters, and other compounds of general interest. As in previous volumes of the series, this volume contains a collection of procedures that reflect a diversity of inorganic synthetic activities in modern research. Thematic chapters comprised of collections of laboratory procedures describe syntheses for main group compounds, some related to metal complexes; mononuclear organometallic and coordination complexes; transition metal compounds containing carbonyl ligands; polynuclear metal complexes with the cyanide ligand as a linking agent; and other types of polynuclear and cluster compounds. After each procedure is presented, there is discussion of the physical and chemical characteristics of the synthesized material, as well as some indication of their possible applications.
