| 概要 | Translated from the Japanese (Jikkaiseki Nyumon), this introduction to real analysis is derived from the author's lectures. In noting that real analysis is based on real numbers, Igari (Tohoku U., Sen...ai) also comments that its boundaries are amorphous, having cannibalized topics from set theory, harmonic analyses, integration theory, probability theory, complex analysis, the theory of partial differential equations, etc. He enlightens practicing and student physicists and engineers on such core subjects as: general topology, Euclidean spaces and the Riemann integral, the Lebesgue integral, differentiation, Fourier analysis, and wavelet theory.
