| 概要 | This study traces the origins of the western legal tradition to the Graeco-Roman world and early Christianity, and links the Roman Church to the emergence of modern legal systems in the Middle Ages. I...vestigates the origins of feudalism, and its transition to feudal law, the emergence of common law, the origin of constitutionalism, and the origins of parliament, particularly as developed by the early Tudor monarchs.
