| 概要 | Godel (1906-78) is known as one of the founders of modern mathematics, but actually spent more time to writing philosophical essays that he never published. Here are two essays on the philosophy of ma...hematics that became available with the opening of his literary estate at Princeton: Some Basic Theorems on the Foundations of Mathematics and Their Philosophical Implications (1951), and two versions of Is Mathematics Syntax of Language (1952-56). Presumably they, as well as the long historical and philosophical introduction by Francisco Rodriguez-Consuegra were translated from Kurt Godel: Ensayos ineditos published in 1994 by Mondadori in Barcelona.
