| 概要 | Augmenting the many studies that focus only on research and development and investment in intangibles, Evangelista (National Research Council of Italy) analyzes the role and importance of investment i... knowledge and fixed capital as two distinct sources of technological change. She uses an extensive data source to test empirically whether disembodied technological activities are more important than traditional investment in productive capital, and finds that fixed productive capital is the most relevant and widespread source of investment in innovation across firms and industrial sectors.
