| 概要 | Turkish-born Abbott (1897-1981) became the first woman faculty member of the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago in 1933. She recounts the history of Mohammed's favorite if not only wife, ...escribing how Aishah outlived him by several decades and was deeply involved in the turmoil of political conflict and civil war that shaped the early Muslim state.
