| 概要 | Information on the solubility of various substances under various conditions is vital in such diverse procedures as determining drug dosage, choosing building materials, and designing toxic waste disp...sal sytems. But the numerical data is scattered widely through the primary literature. This series compiles the data and presents it in a consistent format. These volumes cover the solubility of hydrocarbons--C5-C7 in Part 1 (vol.37); C8-C36 in Part 2 (vol. 38--029215-1)--in seawater, defined as any natural or synthetic aqueous solution in which sodium chloride predominates. Generally the units of the original research have been translated into mass product and mole fractions. Most experiments were conducted at room temperature (275-300 K) and 1 atmosphere (100 k Pa). The entries show components, original researchers/publication, variables, compiler, experimental values, and often includes notes on method/apparatus/procedure, source and purity of materials, estimated error, and references.
