| 概要 | The concept of design includes a wide range of applications. The types of design most readily recognized by the public are all fields of visual design. However, many visual design fields have equivale...nt auditory design fields. Sound can strongly affect aesthetic sensitivity. This paper describes the concept of sound design including their importance in daily life and the possibilities for the future. The basic concept of sound design of products is that sound emitted from a product is a part of products. The sounds made by machines affect perceptions of them. Design of auditory signals is another important design area affecting daily life. Auditory signals must be appropriately designed according to their roles. Soundscape design is a promising field of sound design. Soundscape design should not only include auditory elements. Attention should be paid to relationships and interaction between sound and landscape, so that a symbiosis between sound and landscape can be created. Music production has design process, today. Visual media productions are rarely purely visual, and are generally a combination of motion picture and sound. Sound plays an integral part in the visual production and gives it life. Total planning of sound environment of public space is an important concept. Sounds and space should harmonize with each other. This paper will contribute to the promotion of sound design and sound designers.続きを見る |
