概要 |
The freezing-in phenomena of high temperature structures for solution-crystallized samples of dopentacontane (abbr. as C52), henpentacontane (C51), tetratetracontane (C44) and tritetracontane (C43) we...re studied by using DSC, X-ray diffraction and SEM. C52 and C44 were crystallized as monoclinic and C51 and C43 as orthorhombic. These crystals transformed before melting to oblique structures. After annealing at these temperature regions, the crystal morphologies changed, indicating that the oblique structures were frozen-in. The structure of C52 was determined as monoclinic P21/a. It is noted that this crystalline feature of evennumber n-alkanes holds still at the mobile high temperature phase.続きを見る
