| 概要 |
The present paper proposes the approximate expressions for predicting the critical Rayleigh numbers and heat transfer coefficients of natural convection in enclosed horizontal fluid layers partitioned... by conductive or adiabatic side walls. The expressions for critical Rayleigh numbers are obtained based on the numerical and experimental results for various aspect ratios of rectangular and honeycomb cross sections. The expressions for the heat transfer coefficients are derived from a basic expression for the natural convection in an infinite horizontal fluid layer. The present approximate expressions are proved to have practically sufficient accuracy and wider applicable ranges than the similar expressions hitherto reported. Some typical examples are shown and discussions are made with respect to the application for solar collector.続きを見る
