概要 |
The Inter-College Games of Kyushu has been held every year from 1951. The purpose of this paper is to consider the change of this Games, its background, its problems and consciousness of the participa...nts. The investigations on the Games were conducted in 1955, 1967, 1977, 1985 and 1990. The data gained from these investigations and others were used here. The results can be summarized as follows: 1. The scale of the Inter-College Games of Kyushu, related to the number of participants, the number of athletic activities and the amount of budget, has been enlarged till the end of the 1970s. After the 1980s, its scale has been stable. 2. As for attitude of participant toward the Games, sportsmanship was emphasized in the early period. However, the participants who emphasize victory in the Games have been increasing in recent years. Nowadays, the Games has become more competitive. 3. Forstering intimacies among participants, one of the main purposes of the Games, has not been accomplished as fully as in the past. There are two ways to settle this problem. One is to resuscitate the events of intimacy and the other is to recharacterize the Games itself by changing its code.続きを見る
