中国人日本語学習者のメタファー表現理解に影響する要因 : 母語とメタファー基盤に関わる知識を中心に

概要 Along with the development of Conceptual Metaphor Theory and Applied Cognitive Linguistics, the Metaphorical Competence of foreign language learners has been considered more and more important, and it... has now become an indispensable segment of second language acquisition. In the field of teaching/learning English and some other languages, much progress has been made with the research on Metaphorical Competence of learners. However, only a few studies have been done in the field of Japanese language education in China and Japan. In this paper, in order to contribute to the cultivation of the Chinese-speaking Japanese language learners' ability to comprehend metaphorical expressions, an original test on the comprehension of Japanese metaphorical expressions was designed first, and then it was used to investigate the factors which influence Chinese-speaking Japanese learners' comprehension of metaphorical expressions. The results mainly showed 2 points: (1) Both the knowledge related to the mother tongue and the basis of metaphor are important factors that influence Chinese-speaking Japanese language learners' comprehension of Japanese metaphorical expressions. (2) For Chinese-speaking Japanese language learners, the Japanese metaphorical expressions that don't share similar linguistic forms with Chinese and the ones that are based on metaphors having a metaphorical basis are relatively difficult to understand. In contrast, the Japanese metaphorical expressions that share similar conceptual metaphors and linguistic forms with Chinese and the ones that are based on metaphors having a metonymic basis are relatively easy to understand. Finally, some proposals on the cultivation of the ability to comprehend metaphorical expressions of Chinese-speaking Japanese language learners were presented, basing on the main conclusions and implications of this paper.続きを見る
